Where is Tomette after I open it?

In the menu bar, near the clock: a small capsule showing the next session's length. Click it to open the timer. Tomette has no Dock icon.

How do I start it when I log in?

Open Settings from the ··· menu and turn on “launch at login”. Keep Tomette in the Applications folder; macOS may ask you to allow it in System Settings → General → Login Items.

I don't hear the chime.

The chime has its own volume in Settings, independent of the system volume. You can also turn on a notification for the end of each phase.

Can I start and pause without opening the timer?

Yes. Turn on the ⌃⌥⌘P shortcut in Settings; it works from any app. If another app already uses those keys, the setting switches itself off.

Does it count while my Mac sleeps?

Yes. Time asleep counts toward the session, so a focus that ends while the lid is closed is complete when you come back.

Why didn't my focus session count?

A focus counts only when it reaches zero. Pausing keeps it; cancelling or restarting voids it.

I bought it. Where do I download it again?

Your receipt email has the link, and Polar's customer portal keeps it.

How do I get a refund?
